Raquel Lyrio Sato
Doctoral candidate in Arts Studies and Practices at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), under the supervision of Professor Audrey-Kristel Barbeau. Founder and artistic director of the Allegrissimo Vocal Ensemble — over 100 musical interventions in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and healthcare settings in Montréal.
With more than 15 years of experience in choral conducting, vocal pedagogy, and music-based interventions in health contexts, her work bridges artistic practice and scholarly inquiry. She is affiliated with the RCMS — UQAM and the research group Santé avec Art — UFRJ.
